The historic Gaslamp Quarter is a fun place to visit. This area was named after the arc light that lit the buildings, and it’s filled with museums and historical sites. You can even attend a symphony or orchestra performance for a romantic date night. The Gaslamp Historical District is full of museums and monuments, as well as trendy cafes and shopping malls. The historic district is a wonderful spot to see the local history.

Ocean Beach is another great place to visit in San Diego. It’s home to one of the longest piers in Southern California. Visitors don’t need a fishing license to fish here. If you’re looking for something a little more family-oriented, head to the San Diego Zoo, which is also a great place to visit. While you’re there, take some time to see the animals, and maybe catch a few rays.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is another great option for art lovers. You can get an up-close look at many different forms of art from the Spanish Renaissance to the Dutch Masters. You can also take in the San Diego Air and Space Museum to get an aerial view of the planet. No matter what you’re interested in, you’ll find something that piques your interest. If you don’t want to leave the area, visit one of the museums near Balboa Park.
